Vehicle fire - Fowlmere - South Cambs

At 10am on Saturday (3) a crew from Cambridge along with the south roaming fire engine and Royston (Hertfordshire) were called to a vehicle fire on Chrishall Road in Fowlmere. 

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used hose reels to extinguish a fire involving a lorry and cleared the smoke using a positive pressure ventilation fan. 

Crews returned to their stations by 12pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
